Last update: 02 January 2017

Choice #1

The first important choice can be found in the second chapter - Important Choices in Episode 4: Guardian of Gotham - Episode 4: Guardian of Gotham - Batman: The Telltale Games Series Game Guide

The first important choice can be found in the second chapter. It's up to you whether you want to promise Joker a favor in the future, or you'll refuse him completely.

You're never getting out

Sure. That seems fair

That's not going to happen

...

The third option means you are willing to make a promise to Joker, while refusal is stated through the first and the second option. This situation doesn't have any consequences in this episode.

Choice #2

The scuffle between the inmates and the guards found in the second episode is the second important choice - Important Choices in Episode 4: Guardian of Gotham - Episode 4: Guardian of Gotham - Batman: The Telltale Games Series Game Guide

The scuffle between the inmates and the guards found in the second episode is the second important choice. You can either use the phone and call Alfred, or help the guard in stopping the aggressive patients.

  • Stop the fighting - Help the guards stop the fighting;
  • Use the phone - You've decided to use the opportunity and inform Alfred on your whereabouts;

The conclusion to Choice #2 is exactly the same in both instances - Alfred arrives to Arkham Asylum to get you out of there.

Choice #3

The third choice is found in chapter three - Important Choices in Episode 4: Guardian of Gotham - Episode 4: Guardian of Gotham - Batman: The Telltale Games Series Game Guide

The third choice is found in chapter three. You can either choose to pay off the guards, or tell Alfred to ram the barricade.

  • Ram the barricade - Alfred rams the barricade and escapes the site
  • Pay off the enforcer - Bruce pays the toll

There aren't any special consequences of this choice, as both situations have the same conclusion. Bruce and Alfred are on their way.

Choice #4

The last minutes of chapter four bring us to another choice - Important Choices in Episode 4: Guardian of Gotham - Episode 4: Guardian of Gotham - Batman: The Telltale Games Series Game Guide

The last minutes of chapter four bring us to another choice. Decide whether you want to meet with Harvey Dent as Batman, or as Bruce.

  • Go as Batman
  • Go as Bruce

However, the choice is mainly cosmetic. Our character looks different, and some of the dialogue lines are changed. If you went in as Batman, you'll eliminate your attackers by yourself, while Bruce will be saved by Gordon.

Choice #5

Fifth, and the last, choice is left up to you at the end of the fifth chapter - Important Choices in Episode 4: Guardian of Gotham - Episode 4: Guardian of Gotham - Batman: The Telltale Games Series Game Guide

Fifth, and the last, choice is left up to you at the end of the fifth chapter. You need to decide whether you want to go to your manor to stop Harvey, or go to the Wayne Enterprises to stop Cobblepot and regain control over your technology.

  • Wayne Enterprises - if you want to stop Cobblepot and regain control over your technology
  • Wayne Manor - if you want to stop Harvey

Both situations are completely separate instances, and have a large influence over the fifth episode of the game. Both situations have been described in detail in chapter six (The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly). If you've chosen Wayne Enterprises, the next episode will have you facing Harvey at the beginning. However, if you've chosen Wayne Manor, the beginning of the fifth episode will be marked by Cobblepot standoff.
