ARK: Beacons - types ARK Survival Evolved guide, tips

Below you can find the types of beacons, their description and items they might contain. Note the level required to open a container.
White
It becomes available for players starting at level 3 and contains the most basic items and their blueprints.

 | Campsite items Campfire, Sparkpowder, Waterskin, Hide Sleeping Bag, Raw Meat and all possible Berries. 25% chance of finding a blueprint for items listed above. |
 | Clothing All possible Cloth garments. 25% chance of finding a blueprint related to cloth garments. |
 | Weapons Weapons that can be acquired from a white drop are: Stone Hatchet, Slingshot, Spear, Flare Gun and Torch. 25% chance of getting a blueprint of each of these weapons. |
 | Resources White containers drop resources such as: Stone (7 - 15), Flint (7 - 15), Thatch (30 - 90), Wood (15 - 30), Fiber (30 - 80), Hide (25 - 50). |
 | Building parts Building parts that can be obtained from a white drop: Thatch Wall, Thatch Foundation, Thatch Doorframe, Thatch Door and Thatch Roof. There's a possibility of getting a blueprint. |
 | Furniture Pieces of furniture that can be found in a white drop: Wooden Sign, Storage Box, Simple Bed, Standing Torch and Sparkpowder. 25% chance of getting a blueprint. |
 | Saddles White drops can only contain a Phiomia Saddle. 25% chance of getting a blueprint for this saddle. |
Green
Green drops can be opened by players on level 15 and higher, they are less common than white ones.

 | Farm Three items useful for farming: Small Crop Plot, Compost Bin, Stone Irrigation Pipe - Intake, Tap, Straight. 25% chance of getting their blueprints. |
 | Clothing All possible Hide garments. 25% chance of getting a blueprint related to Hide items. |
 | Weapons Weapons that can be obtained from a green drop are: Bow, Stone Arrow, Tranquilizer Arrow, Parachute, Blood Extraction Syringe, Spyglass. 25% chance of getting a blueprint for each of them. |
 | Resources Green containers drop resources such as: Stone (20 - 40), Flint (20 - 40), Thatch (30 - 90), Wood (40 - 100), Fiber (50 - 100), Hide (40 - 80), Narcotic (5 - 10). |
 | Building parts Building elements that can be obtained from green drops are: Wooden Wall, Wooden Foundation, Wooden Doorframe, Wooden Door and Wooden Ceiling. There's a possibility of getting a blueprint of each of these items. |
 | Advanced Building parts Green drops might contain advanced building parts, such as: Wooden Ramp, Wooden Fence Foundation, Wooden Pillar, Wooden Billboard, Wooden Hatchframe, Wooden Trapdoor, Wooden Ladder, Wooden Windowframe, Wooden Window, Wooden Catwalk, Wooden Wall Sign. |
 | Furniture Pieces of furniture and items that can be acquired are: Mortar and Pestle, Cooking Pot, Paintbrush, Large Storage Box. 25% chance of getting their blueprints. You can also get a Refining Forge blueprint. |
 | Saddles Saddles that can be obtained from green drops are: Raptor Saddle, Parasaur Saddle and Trike Saddle. |
Blue
Contents of blue airdrops are less diverse, but they have a higher rank. Blue containers can be opened by players on level 25 and higher. It is the first type of a drop that can contain a multitude of blueprints. Items without quality are always blueprints. There is 50% chance of getting items with quality or their blueprints.

 | Items with quality You can obtain the following items: Chitin set, Metal Pick, Metal Hatchet, Pike. Saddles: Pulmonoscorpius Saddle, Carbonemys Saddle, Stego Saddle, Ichtyosaurus Saddle. |
Purple
In the case of purple beacons, items with or without quality have a 50% chance of being either a blueprint or a regular item. The containers can be opened by players on level 35 or higher. There is 42.9% chance of getting an item from a blue drop and 57.1% chance that the drop will contain an item from the target rank.

 | Items without quality Purple drops might give you items such as: Silencer Attachment, Scope Attachment, Flashlight Attachment and Grenade. |
 | Items with quality Purple drops might also give you items such as: Simple Pistol, Longneck Rifle, Shotgun. You can also find Saddles: Pteradon Saddle, Sarco Saddle, Ankylo Saddle, Mammoth Saddle. |
Yellow
Yellow containers can be opened starting from level 45. Just like in the previous type, you have 50% chance of getting an item instead of a blueprint of an item with or without quality.
There is 26.3% chance that the item will belong to blue drops, 31.6% - purple, and 42.1% - the target drop.

 | Items with quality A yellow drop might also give you items such as: the entire Flak set, Fishing Rod, Fabricated Pistol. You can also find Saddles: Megalodon Saddle, Sabertooth Saddle or Carno Saddle. |
Red
It is the last kind of a drop that can be found on the ground. It can be opened by players on level 60 or higher. Red drops usually contain really good items.
There is 17.4% chance that the item comes from a blue drop, 21.7% - purple, 26.1% - yellow, and 34.8% of getting an item from the red drop.

 | Items with quality Red drops might also give you items such as: Assault Rifle, Rocket Launcher, Heavy Miner Helmet and Fishing Rot. You can also find Saddles: Argentavis Saddle, Bronto Saddle, Rex Saddle, Spino Saddle or Plesiosaur Saddle. |
Underwater
Underwater beacons are the hardest to get. They require level 80 to be opened. They look like small red crates located deep in the sea. To reach an underwater beacon, you need to have the entire SCUBA set. You will not be able to see a crate without the mask, so it's necessary for such a trip.
Underwater beacons might contain the rarest items in the game as well as the most common ones.
