The Defiled Temple

Quest giver: Milten, Grand Master of Fire [Thorniara - Fortress]

Description: You have to meet with Daranis, who is located in the canals. Exit the fortress and go north to the wealthy district #1 (M12B, 25). Go through the village and choose the path leading down #2 (M12B, 22).

You have to enter the sewers #1. The entrance is located under the bridge between two districts (M12B, 21). Go straight ahead. Daranis is standing near the closed gate #2. Speak with him and you will learn that you have to go through catacombs to enter the temple.

Use the passage unblocked by Daranis and go straight ahead. After few second you will be able to come out #1 (M12B, 40). Eliminate all undeads (remember to attack mages first). After the fight look for the entrance to nearby buildings #2 (M12B, 41).

When you will be in catacombs speak with Merdarion #1. He will help you a bit, but now you will have to eliminate 16 Beliar Cultists. The first one will attack you soon #2. Remember to try to dodge his spells.

Now explore the catacombs. Try to fight with the smallest enemy groups if it is possible #1 and try to interrupt their spells. Examine one room located on your path #2, because you will find many valuable items there.

When you will be in the last room, use the stairs #1 and go up (M12B, 42). Eliminate other six cultists. Attack them when they are standing far from the barriers #2. Ignore anybody that is standing after the barrier. The quest will be over when the last cultist will be dead.

Rewards: The Sleeper Amulet, 2500 EXP, 1000 EXP for speaking with Daranis, 1500 EXP for speaking with Merdarion, 365 or 395 or 428 or 463 for each undead, 395 EXP for each cultist.
