In the crowd, you can abduct the royal guard or pick his pocket.

There are two royal guards walking nearby. At the beginning, you should pick one of their pocket. Then, abduct one of them, but make sure that the soldier is far away from the two guards watching the area. If you cause some suspicion, don't mind it - just quickly walk the other way. With the royal guard, go upstairs.

Go to the end of the corridor and knock out the royal guard that you've abducted.

Now wait until the enemies stand in a way that will allow you to go past them. Go to the last corridor and inside the room on the left. You can knock the guard out here and open the door using the key. Inside, search the chest and collect the plans of the palace. Leave the room through the door on the other side (closer to the stairs leading down). Wait until one of the enemies approaches the door and when he faces the other way, co to the corridor and downstairs.

Jacob

You should have no trouble sneaking to the two snipers from behind.

Go to the roof, but watch out for the royal guards. Talk to Abberline to receive the equipment. Now it's time for the snipers. Start from the ones that are the closest to you. Eliminate one of them when hanging from the edge, then go up and kill the other one. Sneak up to the next two snipers on your right and perform a double execution. Jump down two times and eliminate the single enemies one by one.

Locate the royal guards (green color) and quickly eliminate the spy.

Now, deal with the spies to free the royal guards. The acting mechanism is similar both times: jump down right onto the enemy standing near the guards and then free them. Eliminate the rest of the enemies while staying hidden or with the help of the soldiers (you can recruit royal guards). Do to the same in the second point: Eliminating the spy from the roof is just as easy. Go back to the roof and signal Evie. Watch the cut-scene, enter the vault and approach Starrick.

Final battle

Go past the light and approach Starrick.

After swapping characters, quickly run to the vault. Eliminate four enemies on the way. Inside, use the rope in such way so that you can go past the three beams of light. Go between the columns using the rope again and then shoot it up to hang above Starrick. You can perform execution from here.

Focus on counterattacks and perform quick bursts of hits when you can.

A short battle will begin. During the fight, focus on counterattacking the enemy's hits and performing yours. Don't hit too much, because Starrick may easily block you and perform a counterattack. When the camera gets closer to the Templar, prepare for a series of quick dodges when he attacks (you can't perform your attacks for a while). Then, hit Starrick a few times to end the fight for now.

Approach Starrick for the last time.

As Jacob, go past the light (first go to the side and then run through the middle) and approach Starrick. Just like Evie, block a few attacks and perform a few counterattacks. Then, as Evie, do the same again. Lastly, approach Starrick as Jacob and then as Evie, which will allow you to perform an execution that will end the main story of AC: Syndicate.

Challenges

Use a key to enter the White Drawing Room - Steal from one of the guards (you should have no trouble doing that) and use the key to open the door on the first floor.

Free all captive royal guard groups - in both cases, kill the person that guards the royal soldiers (execution from air) and free them.
