There will be many opportunities to avoid open fights and to eliminate isolated enemies while staying undetected. In most cases it will require your knife which may be used when you will get close enough to your target. The best way is to stay hidden for as long as possible and keep yourself safe from the conventional battles. Assassinations allow you to instantly kill an enemy.

Assassinating from behind a cover

Whistle to lure an enemy to a place where you may eliminate him or her.

One of the easiest ways to eliminate your opponents. Sneak to a place where you may stay undetected. While sneaking, get close to a cover to be automatically glue to it. It will make you undetectable unless someone will find walk at you from the other side. In this position try to lure your enemy and make him or her get close to you (although not to close so you can avoid being detected) and eliminate him or her. The body will instantly be hidden next to you. The best way to lure an enemy is to use whistling.

Assassinating from above

Thanks to the rope you may hang above the enemies.

This type of elimination is possible when you are in the window or you hang on a rope connected to your grappling hook. When the enemies are below you, you may see the elimination option. Your character will jump on the and instantly kill an enemy. If there is two enemies close to each other you may take care of both of them at the same time.

Assassinating from a hide

A leap of faith, and after that: eliminating a target and hiding a body.

The places where you may hide yourself are also useful as a weapon. If your enemy will get close to you, you will be able to kill him and to hide his or her body. This type of assassination may be done mostly from the haystacks and the piles of leaves on which you may jump to find a cover. Whistle to lure an enemy and complete the execution when he or she will get close enough.

Assassinating from an edge

When you sag off the edge you may wait for an enemy and throw him down.

You may eliminate an enemy who is right above you while staying undetected. If you are hanging on the edge of, for example, a building you may try to get very close to you opponent. If you two will be close enough you may grab him or her and throw him or her down without raising any attention. You may do the same to characters who stand next to a window. However if the area below is patrolled by other enemies they will probably feel fairly alarmed if they will see some bodies falling from the air.

Using the tools

Throwing knifes and darts are perfect for quiet assassinations. When using knifes remember to aim at enemy's head and that stronger enemy may survive a single hit. Also if you won't buy a special skill improving your darts' effect, high level enemies may be invulnerable to their effect.

Finesse killing

Killing in a finesse way will be related to a very specific and effective way of assassination.

During some quests you may try to kill your target with some more finesse. It will require some unique actions (such as unlocking a highly secured passage) and in result you will be able to kill your target for a couple of moments before taking him down with one button. While doing this you will stay undetected and the result will be mostly more interesting than the other types of assassination.
